Amazing breakfast! Has a great home feel and the staff were all super friendly and speedy. Me and the hubs ordered the Kiawah Island Skillet, a half order of biscuits and a scone - not only was everything delicious but it was a large quantity. Best of all, the price was right on! We are most definitely coming back!
This is a little hidden gem!! We loved it! Great place for food breakfast and good Prices! Our waiter was very friendly! We will defiantly be back! My fiancé said this was his favorite breakfast/brunch place yet, in Charleston!
We love the Charleston Cafe and I think most of Mount Pleasant would agree, there's almost always a wait. But it is worth it and they move fast! While you're waiting they have juice and coffee set up outside for you. The food is excellent! They have amazing omelettes with shrimp, sausage and fresh vegetables. The portion sizes are great too you will not leave hungry! It doesn't have much curb appeal but it is so delicious. They have sweet potato biscuits which are heavenly. They also have skillet breakfast where your eggs are served over potatoes mmmm. My only complaint is they don't have mimosas.
My wife is stingy with five star ratings, but she insisted for this place. Charleston's Cafe has one of the most unique breakfast menus I've ever seen. My wife and I both had one of their island potato casseroles, which were absolutely delicious. We also had the fried green tomatoes and a sweet potato biscuit, which were also very good. Definitely a place to stop when you're in Charleston!
Stopped in here on our way to the Boone Plantation for breakfast and was so pleased with the absolutely lovely service, friendly atmosphere and even better food. I got one of their famous "Potato Casseroles" that they are known for and it did not disappoint. I also bought a piece of art from a local artist as they have tons of items all over the brunch spot for sale. Would recommend HIGHLY. Excellent.
Greeted and seated right away. Service was great and so was the food- very generous portions. Interesting and unique breakfast dishes at a good value!
